On April 23, 2014, registration was registered with the Ministry of Justice (No. 32079) Directive of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation dated October 7, 2013 No. 3073-U “On cash payments” (hereinafter referred to as the Directive of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation dated October 7, 2013), establishing the rules for handling cash for organizations and individual entrepreneurs. (We note right away: the provision in question does not apply to settlements between individuals who are not individual entrepreneurs, to banking transactions, as well as to payments made in accordance with customs and tax legislation.)
The Directive of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation dated October 7, 2013 replaced the familiar Directive of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation dated June 20, 2007 No. 1843-U “On the maximum amount of cash payments and the expenditure of cash received at the cash desk of a legal entity or the cash desk of an individual entrepreneur” (hereinafter referred to as the Directive of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation dated June 20, 2007).
