From January 1, 2021, UTII (Unified Tax on Imputed Income) will finally cease to exist, and the state does not plan to extend this period. UTII was supposed to disappear several years ago, the date was postponed, but this time there will be no postponement. Special regulations are not needed to abolish UTII, as evidenced by Part 8 of Article 5 of Federal Law No. 97 of June 29, 2012 “On Amendments to Part One and Part Two of the Tax Code...”.
Until January 1, individual entrepreneurs and companies must choose a new tax regime in order to continue their activities. If this is not done, then from the new year taxes will have to be paid according to the general system.
